For those of you on here not already attached to MLS, what if you took the normal randomness and chaos of soccer, but then didn’t allow the teams owned by oligarchs and nation states to outspend the other guys by orders of magnitude. But you still gave them enough rope to hang themselves repeatedly.

It was a cursed day. I’m still so proud of what Rob Valentino was able to accomplish with the raw material he was given. We had a Cinderella run. It was exhilarating seeing them win again. Garth has his work cut out for him. We will see you again next season, Atlanta United.
