you should be able to do your work and save your emotional resolve for dealing with difficult opposing counsel or difficult clients. you shouldn't be also having to fight your own management!

these aren't like snowflake people who can't take criticism or demanding work. these are really sharp people who take their work seriously. What they don't want to do is have to endure actual villain treatment for no reason.

I say this as someone who has a really great gig. I love my work and my relationship with my boss is solid. I just wish that were the case for everyone-- I currently have four friends who are looking for new jobs because of their current jobs' horrible culture and I hate it for them
