I meant literal global temperature here, not metaphorical! Though we should get the latter down too, and pronto

It would make sense to do this but I think in practice they seem to shy away from it. By contrast with:

Does any North American agency more competent than Metrolinx do it as well?

Starter packs led to too much low quality interactions and a whole movement of follow-farming. Discover is used as a substitute for actually following accounts, and is a too non-contextual algorithmic feed; if you have a post show up there, you get a lot of drive-by low context replies

We badly need a Metrolinx-shaped agency that can develop deep expertise in building and operating transit, both to expand GO Transit and to get local transit infrastructure built. Metrolinx needs to be replaced or rebuilt so we’re opening transit, not wasting years and billions spinning our wheels

1) There’s always bad things happening somewhere but there’s also good things happening; you can help cause more of the latter 2) Trying to do something gives you more purpose than just being an observer, especially if your observing is largely of the bad things 3) Better transit is its own reward

So, the same Russians who talk about Orthodoxy have now damaged one of its most important landmarks. Saint Sophia Cathedral — a historical monument that is 1,000 years old. One of the oldest landmarks in Ukraine.

You can also think “fuck cars” if you have to drive everywhere, or perhaps especially if you have to drive everywhere
