I never said they would. They have no spines. You asked a question, I answered it. If he were impeached and convicted he could be removed. Like you, I have no faith in that happening.

Impeachment is a 2 part process. The House voted to impeach and succeeded. However, the 2nd phase is a trial in the Senate. It requires a 2/3s majority to convict and remove. The GOP admitted 45 was guilty but refused to convict. A full impeachment would see him removed.

That is simply not true. For some, sure. But when all things average out, the facts are there.

A lot of ppl here missed the “in previous generations” part. This isn’t about sahm vs working moms. Growing up, I barely saw my parents during the day bc I was outside all day. Today, most kids spend more time inside near their parents than outside.

Also, many parents today have screen limits. Just like you weren’t kicked out like others were, many parents don’t just have their kids on iPads all day like some do. That is also beyond the entire point being made. Parents today spend more hours with their kids than previous generations. Fact

You are misunderstanding the entire statement. There is bound to be some interaction and parenting when in proximity all day vs kids being by themselves all day. The statement is not better parenting, it’s simply saying more hours of active engagement, which is true.

OP is not talking about any one generation. Your own statement describes children free and playing outside. The original statement was simply that today’s parents, even working, spend more time active parenting. Probably due to proximity. Kids are outside less, leading to more parental interaction

Also, I was a part of that generation and many of my friends were absolutely kicked outside. I was there. Many of us were outside by choice. Either way, we spent less time with our parents than children do today.

Regardless. That is still less hands on than current parenting models. It’s not judgement, it’s just numbers.

It’s talking about SAHMs of previous generations. The parents who kicked their kids out after breakfast and didn’t see them until dinner. That was the norm when I grew up. Parents were far less hands on in previous generations.
