Really fascinating! My first book, Automating Finance, looks at how techies from working class backgrounds reinvented finance. They did so because they weren’t caught in that “middle of the organization” which seems to reproduce so much class inequality. They were invisible, until they they weren’t.

After watching the Orson Welles documentary "They'll Love Me When I'm Dead" (2018) I noted that they used a section of Yes's "Heart of the Sunrise" (1971): www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5XW... which also features in Vincent Gallo's "Buffalo 66" (1998). What a track (especially this instrumental buildup)
