I wouldn't say "ultimately".
He's a coward through and through from tail to snout all day every day.
His cowardice isn't revealed, it's visible from space.

Burchett is a sycophantic christofascist who doesn't seem particularly bright or informed.
He's a perfect case example of the current state of the GOP. No character, no substance, just naked ambition and a desire to control.

Of course he wouldn't believe that the Russians would be a world superpower.
That would have been an insane belief considering what Russia was during Washington's time.
Same with China, really. And Australia would have really thrown him for a loop.

Except this time, we have to wonder if Cheeto/Hegseth/Musk are behind it.

Yeah, never trust Ford to do anything until a few months after he's done it and the inevitable investigation is finished.

You are underselling this. Caine is *vastly* less qualified. Not only is he retired, he's a Lt. General and was not the head of one of the branches.
This is a post typically reserved for 4 star generals. Not also-rans.
I'm guessing we find out he has ties to extremists within the next few days.

And it won't be the Secret Service that mysteriously "lost" all their comms data from J6, even though some of those comms are on completely different systems from each other.
Or the Fox & Friends military.

Pathetic. Gutless. Feckless.
In an era of obvious, blatant, public corruption and erosion of democratic norms, Hochul seizes the moment and...pulls a Collins' "I'm concerned".
Get out of here.

All models are wrong, some are useful.
When done by AI without proper human/expert interpretation, all AI models are wrong and ALL are misleading.

For a guy claiming to have STEM credentials (as a business investor guy), he sure doesn't understand even the basics of the nature of the work done by STEM folks.
I'm a hydrogeologist, and we're dealing with LLMs/machine-learning/AI and... it's not great.
Science requires interpretation+context.

There is, so far, no information even remotely suggesting that *Canadian* orgs are responsible.
This isn't a N. America problem, this is a US problem (based on what we know right now).
It's, at best, disingenuous to suggest otherwise.

Canadians fight to the death for democracy and freedom.
We even go as far as to help the US in their illegal and unjustified wars in the name of freedom and friendship.
And then y'all go full Reich on us. Not cool, buds. Not cool.

Definitely. Bakersfield has long been a GOP stronghold, especially with all the oil fields and the strategic naval petroleum reserve nearby.
The San Joaquin Valley has some of the most disastrous groundwater and irrigation issues, so I've always been confused there aren't more enviro folks there.

It's almost as though running a state like a theocracy is a bad idea.

Don't see how that relates to your original point or my replies.
The population size of the states is completely irrelevant to your original point. Same with senators.
This is about Cheeto, not Thune.

Arizona. Nevada. Missouri.
All red states in the past election.
And the three red states you listed are pretty consistent red states. So, yeah, a who's who.
Weird thing to push back about, but you do you, Grouchy.

Stay focused.
You're acting like a grinder monkey while the entire American experiment collapses, you feckless twit.
Either do EVERYTHING McConnell has done over the past 17+ years to stop Cheeto or get out of the way for actual defenders of democracy.
Fish or cut bait, Chuck.

It's no longer true that "basically all red states outlaw recreational cannabis".
But, yeah, obviously there are many more blue states that have legalized/decriminalized cannabis.

Throughout my lifetime, the GOP has been much more effective at messaging.
The Dems suck at messaging. Just look at the colossal messaging failures by Schumer, Jefferies et al in this moment.
Anemic, pathetic, useless rhetoric and cute jokes.
The GOP claims victory at every opportunity.

He also survived an insurrection and did nothing.
He is SOLELY responsible for Trump being eligible to run a second time. SOLELY. Everything that is happening is 100% his fault.
He also stole two SCOTUS seats, but that's almost the least of his transgressions against democracy.

If so, can she be disbarred for publicly demonstrating on multiple occasions that she doesn't even have the legal understanding of a high schooler?
Same question for Bondi. Can you lose your right to practice for not knowing the difference between civil and criminal?
