Even after living in BC for 10 years, I had never consciously felt an earthquake before. I've felt 3 in the last 3 weeks. 😬 I really should put together an earthquake kit

Moving right from a Glacial Meltdown into an Ice Age. Talk about an over-correction! Game: Doomlings #boardgames

My work face vs my gaming face - #boardgames #boardgamesky #digitalart #meme #gaming

Thunder Road chaos!!!

I've been playing a lot of card games lately. The latest one is Rebel Princess. The twist of this game is to NOT take tricks that include a specific suit. Also, each player has a special power they can use once per round, and each round has something that modifies the round.

No one in my game group is a poker player. But The Gang was one of the most engaging things we've played in a long time. The silent tension during play, the explosive reveal, the cross talk as we all spill the beans on what we were thinking during the hand. It's a pretty perfect pub game #boardgames

The point of Forest Shuffle is to just build trees, right? The animals are totally unnecessary.

Thanks to @brotherminggames.bsky.social for sending me a copy of Re;Act! I'm excited to dive into it!

The struggle is real. #BoardGames #RuleBooks #Playtests youtube.com/shorts/tXz6B... @thenerdshelves.bsky.social

Played Yamatai last night. It was a great game, I had a good time playing it, but I don't know if it's a game I would ever choose to play again. Nothing about it really makes me want to come back. #boardgames

It's a pretty fun feeling scrolling through a crowdfunding page and seeing your own testimonial on the page. Project is Bullet Cubed on Gamefound gamefound.com/en/projects/...

Yay local library pickup!

Played Between Two Castles: Essential Edition from @stonemaiergames.com. It feels very friendly and cooperative as you build castles with your neighbour and use all the weird scoring quirks from CoMKL. I quite enjoyed it!

I love dexterity games. Crash Octopus addresses one of the main criticisms of many other dexterity games because it has a set timer, so can't drag on forever. Also, it's aesthetically really well done!

Yay! New game day, courtesy of @stonemaiergames.com! Thanks so much, can't wait to check it out!

Evo: The Last Gasp of the Dinosaurs is a silly area control #boardgame about dinosaurs evolving and trying to survive climate change and populate the island before the meteor arrives. Each round your dino gets a mutation, that you get to placer on your dino board, making some really wacky creatures!

I always compare Azul to Sagrada, mostly because they're both puzzly abstract games that came out at the same time. I've always preferred Sagrada, but as time wears on, Azul continues to grow on me. #boardgames
