Big Mac for me. I can’t get on with mayo on burgers!

Didn’t see any Aston Villa clips 😉 I used to love the classified check - it was a milestone in your weekend. It’s just not the same now, in this world of almost instant everything….

Whopper or a Big Mac?

Constant chipping and changing in the back four. Not an excuse and yeah typical villla, against a team with a gd of -27. And to rub salt in the wound, Kamara goes off, injured. No wonder we can’t get any consistency with the amount of injuries we’ve got

We see you, our American friends, and stand with you.
Bluesky is a great environment for building European-American resistance links…
…and over the coming months and years, we should actually put some real work into that space.
If you feel that, please re-share this for solidarity. ✊🇪🇺🇺🇸

Fine. Then I’ve bought my last pint of Brewdog.

Toffos and Strikers - I’d forgotten about those. Loved them, especially Toffos. I seem to remember there was a banana one, which was fab! Marathon will always be a marathon to me!

Christ. I’m lost for words. Again.

It’s dreadful seeing what’s happening in America at the moment. It’s like watching a car crash in slow motion - a big one. I’m speechless.

Good luck to him. The temptation of playing infront of crowds less of than 10k every week, in a league that has a very low profile outside of Saudi, was clearly too much. At least his bank account will be overflowing with $$$$$$

There just aren’t enough words to describe how awful this man is - and how even more awful the people are who hang on his every word and prop him up are.

One to add to the watchlist. Thanks for the recommendation!

Series 2 is even better, and Jackson Lamb has some brilliant one-liners. I haven’t seen Blacklist - just looked it up. Is it the series about FBI?

Always sad if a midland club drops out of the PL.
BTW just finished series 2 of Slow Horses on Apple TV. If spies, the circus & John Le Carre are your thing, you‘d love it - if you don’t already know about it. Got a hunch you’d like that kind of thing…

Not sure. We’ve blown hot n cold this season. We’ve managed to beat the last new manager we came across but not sure about tomorrow. West Ham are one of those teams that quite often catch us out….

Day 1 and it’s worse than expected. Talk of race horse theory and Nazi salutes. They have power now. People were mocked for calling them facists. Now they don’t need to hide.

He played some blinders too but sadly had too many howlers.

A few months ago, I had a bit of a Morph revival with my four-year-old, and he absolutely loved it. Now he's moved on to early „Wallace & The Gromit" - as he likes to call it. It’s such a shame there isn’t more content made in that classic, old-fashioned way.

I remember going to the home of Fosters in the mid 90’s and being shocked how bad the beer was in general. The Fosters was particularly awful!

It’s still quite early days for Bluesky. Since I deleted my X account I spend much less time on social media which, tbh, is a good thing. I only follow a few accounts on Bluesky now and yours is one of the reasons why I do come here.

Gosh, it’s not that long ago but the days of film and posting your cartridge to be developed seems a lifetime away. I always loved the anticipation of waiting for your snaps to arrive!

Yes, I know. Spent many hours there, as did you by the sound of it 😀 There was also a place on the opposite side of the runway we went to, but I can’t remember what that was called.

we left on a China Airlines 744 while another was parked up in cargo having taken a soak in the bay at the end of the runway a few days earlier. A somewhat unerving experience!

Great story. I arrived at Kai Tak at night time, on board a China Airlines A300-600R. A very firm landing like yours. Unforgettable. Then followed by 5 incredible spotting/photography days, interspersed with trips to explore HKs dizzying maze of streets.

FAB. I’m a bit too young to remember 1966. Don’t get to say that much these days!

You did the right thing. I can’t stomach Musk - I would rather eat glass than do anything that supported any of his businesses.

Also notice recently, and not just with Bluesky, that everyone I try and watch an embedded YouTube video it won’t play unless I’m logged in, to prove I’m not a bot. I’m always logged into YouTube but can’t seem to get round this and make videos play.
