I read "The Life of Chuck" BTW, and Flanagan is gonna knock this thing outta the park.

Same! That part of the box set tracklisting has me most intrigued.

There is a band I randomly saw here at a brewery, just playing rock covers. The drummer was *incredible*. I asked who else he had played with, and he said "just at church."

It's been a losing battle for me. They are 1) not a creative, and 2) not online nearly as much, so the ethical problems bounce right off of them. To them, it "saves brain space"

Give it time! Becky wanted to rip this one out a few years ago because it wasn't growing. Just kept giving it fresh top soil every year and made sure it stayed watered (not really a problem up here). It's doubled in size since last year.

Looks like I might be able to go to the Blood Incantation show after all 🤞

For sure! There's a lot of rage bait out there that is easy to fall for.

Valravn is nuts! Make time for Top Thrill 2 if you can.

Mine is being tested for sure! It's definitely a change in how people post here now as opposed to a year ago. A lot has changed since then, obviously, but feeding the doom machine doesn't help.

This is definitely the fun kind of doom I can get behind!

I appreciate that! And yes, Erik and I have worked together a ton over the last decade. He's currently mixing/mastering my next doom album with @masikus.bsky.social on drums. Great dudes to make music with!

This was an all-timer MAG set for sure!

Yeah, it's a bit of a weird experience! Custom molded IEMs are where it's at though.

I'm gonna recommend "The Handbook of Dream Analysis" by Gutheil 1951. I read this years ago in college, but it is fascinating and has tons of actual dream examples that you can look up by topic from the index.
