You’re here! 2025 does bring good things.

I think it’s only in the final challenge they don’t have to reveal? I thought the wording was unclear

I’ve long since stopped expecting internet commenters to use reason

And yes that’s a huge argument FOR mixing.

The problem for me is that it conflates genuinely bad breeders who breed dogs under terrible conditions, and breeders who are lovely humans just not doing things the way the breed police would have them do it.

I think their point is that if you’re trying to create a new breed, by mixing two breeds, it’s hard to develop breed standards.

I made the mistake of saying we were told our dog would be 40 lbs and he’s now 95 and they came for me. THATS BECAUSE YOU USED A BYB!

They believe that reputable breeders can breed for health and temperament in a way that’s unpredictable with mixing breeds. I think? And then they get into the weeds with breed standards which I don’t think is a thing most household pet people care about.

And what is happening in your house that it needs to happen monthly?? I’ve done a half assed job of this once in an attempt to make my house smell neutral, but only in the kitchen and kitchen adjacent areas.

I guarantee they’re serious. That’s a commonly held thought - that breeding anything other than a recognized breed is “backyard breeding.” (I say this as a person with a mutt from a breeder, so I don’t agree with them, but they’re a vocal group.)

I’m watching this right now and there’s an audience member who has your laugh and I honestly thought “i wonder if Jamie was there?”

Here to recommend Holidazed as it has one of, if not the best gay storyline on Hallmark in so much as they do not dance around it at all. Straight out the gate with a closet joke that is perfectly placed.

This!

Just got to the karaoke scene and it was everything I wanted it to be!

I liked it. It’s darker and more political than the musical by a large margin but 20 years ago I thought it was a good read.

The Way Home is set to come to linear in the fall.

Me. Thanks!

Like, tell me that goldendoodle doesn’t have Hayden vibes.

Did we try to figure out if those dogs are a clue? Yes, yes we did.

Meanwhile I’m sitting over here googling “is anyone in NKOTB problematic.”

I have been team JT is 🗑️ long before it was cool and man did people forgive him the second there was a rumored NSync reunion.

It is SO annoying. This episode was so good - straight out of the gate with a well placed closet metaphor. PUT IT ON LINEAR.

It’s super enjoyable! It’s an ambitious project for Hallmark and it’s paying off I think.

And to the man who stepped in front of the line of eight people with “my prescription is ready”: Yes dude, that’s why we’re all here. Back of the line, bro.

The white! Health be damned.

The thing that strikes me now is how much drink driving was/is happening probably especially among teenagers who don't want to rat themselves out as needing a ride home.

Also, I'm pretty tired of the "they're going to do it anyway" argument. I can think of plenty of dumb things kids might "do anyway" that I wouldn't encourage them to do. But also I didn't drink in HS and have always been 45 years old at heart so I know my tolerance for basic misbehaviors is low.

It's on Hallmark+ which you probably don't have but you can get it for free with Hoopla by using theie Binge Pass. And you can "borrow" the Binge Pass as often as you want.

This is an excellent night! (And we’re huge fans of the writer of Hot Frosty so we’re super excited to see people loving his movie!)

We’re just starting the process for next year and it’s maddening how different the processes are for every school.

The nebulous end point is definitely the worst part. I’m sorry. It’s a big decision and you should be able to make it with all of the available information.

What a mess. I would be spinning out on the what if of it all.

Tech week with just one kid and wonky schedules and meal times and exhaustion makes me want to crawl into bed. You’re a hero.
