Contacting the virtual ED service could be helpful? Have only used them once, but they were thorough and kind. www.vved.org.au/welcome/

I don’t mind trimming. Except when I go too far

It’s a great spot. Enjoy.

Jimbug obviously learnt those moves from his mum. Classic June moves there.

They are beautiful! I am a rotten glazer. I can never quite get them clean enough, there's always a splash of the outside glaze inside, or vice versa.

Good luck Jon. May your anaesthesia induced dreams be filled with wombats and quolls.

You and me both…. Perhaps use it for special occasions only?

Buy the coat. You only live once. Given the state of the world, it may end next week. Just buy the coat, you look fabulous in it.

Ah Min. She knows who her family is, I have no doubt she remembers.

Ah no. You know they don’t live forever, but always wish they will. Hugs for you. I reckon Piper fell on her feet when she arrived at your place, and got so much love. Go gently.

I still feel that I haven’t got the hang of glazing. It’s still a bit of a mystery. Next week is glazing week… I’m going to be so perplexed, again.

They are brilliant! Glad you’re pleased with them

Yes, of course you do. Treat yourself. Socks are good for the soul.

Can’t go wrong with wombat socks

You never want the flu either. You did so well to avoid it until now.

Ah blow! Rest up. I hope you don’t feel too rotten.

Oh no. I can’t contemplate Magda not being here. She’s such a good egg. Fingers and toes crossed for her. And absolutely everyone get their breast screen done. And do the bowel screening test. Anything you can.

Just one last circuit

Charlotte Walker is an interesting one. Turned 21 on election day. I'm hoping that she is supported as I suspect this is going to be a huge change of scene. But I also hope she's able to bring a different perspective to both the Labor party room and the senate.

Certainly catchy

Now that’s a song that I hadn’t thought about in a very very long time. Slightly scary how you’ve made it instantly replay in my brain

Your classic line gets a run again

Wally is wallying

Her final line was superb. “…they don’t need girlfriends, they need a therapist”.

Done! Look forward to more pots

There used to be one near Hastings Cave in Tassie that mimicked camera shutters, and car engines starting up.

Oh Shayne. Good friends are like gold dust. I’m so sorry. Bloody cancer.

Grief is such a funny thing. It’s like a cloak, you’re wrapped in it, you’re wearing it always, but sometimes it’s fluidity lets you move freely, and at others it traps and tangles you in a way that is paralysing. But you just have to keep moving, I guess. One foot in front of the other.

It’s been a hard 12 months. It’s not one thing, it’s been an avalanche of unexpected. Slowly starting to crawl back up, and starting to make sense of what might come next. Right now, still slowly pacing from the surgery that wasn’t on the bingo card. A few hiccups, but better than I anticipated.

Afternoon slumbering is not a bad thing. And being kind with yourself, no expectations about what is the right thing to feel, be, or do. I visited the cemetery this week and planted daffodil bulbs. Hopefully they’ll come up in spring. Dunno whether that was the right thing either, but it felt so.

Yay! They look brilliant. The kiln gods and Margaret were in a good mood.

It would cost me a fortune if they released a line of Mon Montha inspired clothes!

I was in the shop a week early…. Australia Post wins again. Jon, if you happen find any more weedy sea dragons hiding in a pile, let me know, I somehow managed to miss that one.

My private health insurance covered part of both doses. Decided that not getting shingles was worth the investment. Given the new findings about dementia protection, I’m doubly glad I did it. But I did feel rubbish for a couple of days afterwards.

I think it’ll be brilliant to have someone young to contribute a much need perspective. Good on her for putting her hand up, and giving it a go. And good on the South Australians who have elected her.

If she wants to put up policies, she should actually stand for parliament, as opposed to just buying politicians. She’d get a reality check, but she’d frame it as everyone else having the problem….
