A lot of depts depend on NIH funding at UW; OB/GYN is one of them. This directly impacts patient care, research, and access. If docs can’t do the research they want, they’ll go elsewhere. If we don’t have docs, folks can’t get care. This is a huge problem with far reaching consequences.
