someone once told me to put ammonia on a cloth and leave it in the space your critter has disappeared into, with a well-lit route to the exit you want them to take. kitties have sensitive noses, and nobody really likes the smell of ammonia.

good for you but still, NO thanks. kinda like greenwashing, you tell us "hey we're good," when in fact you just aren't as good as you need to be to earn any of my hard-earned money.

you posted this photo of the atrocious encampment in Berkeley on Harrison @ 8th St; the blue striped building being the USPS annex that refuses to keep their sidewalks clear. this is not Fremont. ALSO HOUSE THE HOMELESS & CLEAN OUR STREETS so we can walk safely on our own damn sidewalks.

I will NEVER forget Jamaican mango season --- Julie, Blackie/Blackspot, Number 11 were some of my favorites. So many fiberless mangoes, I was in heaven! We only get garbage turpentine fruit in CA boo hiss

If you want to understand how embedded aesthetics is in fascist thought, I think Umberto Eco's 1995 essay, "Ur-Fascism" is the most accessible work on the subject. You will see numerous connections between Trumpism and historical fascism. theanarchistlibrary.org/library/umbe...

what happens if I choose to not pay my federal income taxes, as I don't want to pay in to this authoritarian/fascist playbook?

that will be challenging as pretty much every home in my neighborhood has at least one wood fence at their property line, that is NOT 5' from their home.
