Congrats!! Dark Souls 1 has been my favorite so far. I'm playing through 3 now. What's been your favorite now that you've completed them all?

The media is all optional. I played it without watching anything and itās my favorite FF now. If you really want to, then Iād say the most important is the movie for critical context. The anime is just some background info on the boys.

I want to play it again real soon! i did it solo, but i think itād be great to play through it in coop with my sister. She needs to hear the good word of Piers Nivans.

RE6 has some of the coolest movement in a third person shooter ever. Itās so fun

Which is probably how I got away with getting it haha. Tell them that itās a sequel to the funny otsel platforming game, itās totally fine!! š
I loved the platforming and vibes of the first one though. Iām glad they innovated for the sequels, but a direct sequel to Jak 1 wouldāve been divineā¦

Jak & Daxter was one of my favorite series growing up!! Iād spend hours in Jak 2 fighting the cops and building defensive barriers out of burnt out hover cars. GTA wouldāve been the perfect game for young me if I were allowed to play it lol

IV, VII, XV, or XVI. Itās too hard to choose, theyāre all amazing.
XV truly did earn that spot in the classic FM hall of fame, though. That one may be my favorite out of my top 4.

Nothing wrong with the dull answer, itās one of the best games of all time š
my favorite is FF15. A lot of people didnāt like it, and i get why, but I still love it so much

When they released Mulan & Mushu, I played soo much at once because I'd been waiting for them forever. I ended up making them their own little Chinese-inspired village in the Wild Tangle. It totally burnt me out though, I needed a break. But omg the new expansion's zones look so pretty I have to try

I still need to unlock Tiana and finish the last expansion š I burnt out a bit ago and need to catch up but the new update looks so nice!

Just like Animal Crossing but with Disney. You fish, you cook, you decorate houses and the landscape, you mine for gems, you do quests to advance the main story and unlock more villagers. Itās fun, itās a chill little game.

It technically didnāt even come out this year, but as a PC player Iāve been having an absolute blast with FF16. It was worth the wait.

I'm super curious about Expedition 33. Ben Starr voicing one of the main characters hooked my interest. He's such a good actor

Thatās when I started too. I donāt think any other place has made me feel like Iām at home as much as Azeroth has. Maybe Hyrule is a close second, though.

Companies should make more experimental spin-offs. Iād love it if Capcom made like, Revelations 3 and had it be fixed camera with tank controls. Itās a spinoff so they wouldnāt need to pump massive amounts of money into it, and if it does well, then the company would be incentivized to do it again.

Ill add some more to support your point even further:
- WoW: The War Within
- FF14 Dawntrail
- FF16 The Rising Tide
- Pharaoh: Total War Dynasties
All great DLCs and expansions that came out this year.

Agreed. Though I canāt even call FF7R a remake at this point. Itās just straight up a sequel / retelling. The basic story is intact, but this isnāt just a simple FF7 remake.

DLC winning would set such a weird precedent. I'd prefer to keep the game of the year award exclusive to NEW GAMES, not add-ons to old games.

It's SO close between Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask, but I think Majora's Mask just barely beats it for me. I love how super weird it feels. That atmosphere was so good!!

Once you grow your Frank to become super powerful over the course of like 3-4 runs you feel like a god. Getting a game over doesn't feel like a waste of time because Frank will start the next run even stronger. It's great and I wish more games would do things like that

It was hard to choose between OG or remake RE4, but the remake just feels SOO good to play š¬
