But if we’re all collectively fired, then who will be left to serve the American people? Telling us “who cares get fired resist” is not the help we need. We need the public to keep pressure on lawmakers and media. Do your part, we’ll do ours - to resist by staying and serving the public.

But we can't do anything without losing our jobs! They're firing everyone who tries to follow actual procedure, policy, and the law. We need the media, the public, and Congress to put the pressure on. Please, check out r/fednews to see how badly our hands are tied and what it's like.

We can peacefully protest, but not on official time so it’s not quite as effective (esp since the protests are being scheduled for mid-workweek). We need the general public to help us - talk to your reps for us, share our stories with your local news especially if you aren’t in the DMV.

We’re not allowed to strike. Reagan added it to our oaths after the air traffic controllers strike in the ‘80s.
