Ha yes I still have to drop her off at her friend's house or a central meeting point

Not with mine no. Plus if 17 wants to go out, she goes with her friends

17 and 13. They both enjoy it when we go out but getting them out in the first place is the problem

True! I struggle to get them out now. I put it down to their age

Ha this is me! Although all I've done this evening so far is a workout and the dishes. Off to make tea in 5 minutes

You mentioned your cat. You need to pay the cat tax with a photo now 😀

Hi. I'm so sorry to ask. Is there a way to read this without paying for it please?

I didn't even need to read the sign to know which station that was! That wall was instantly recognisable 🤣

Spa days can mean different things. I've had some where I go use the pool, the sauna etc. Have lunch and maybe a massage or a facial. Frame it as a relaxing thing/self care rather than a skincare regime. They can have a manicure and a facial to relax etc

Me too. The song goes "the Wombles of Wimbledon, common are we" I was also an adult when I realised the comma wasn't there and there was actually a Wimbledon Common 🙄

If you want to understand how tech bros (AG Bell) and white supremacy has tried to erase Deaf people, watch "Through Deaf Eyes." These are stories I will teach my #DeafKid. gallaudet.edu/museum/exhib...

I'm deaf and I get ads for those loop ear plugs telling me I can block out unwanted noise. You're right. The machines are not there yet!

We are in the process of trying to find another church building for one of our congregations. And the biggest requirement for this, is that it's on a bus route.

Yep. I know I've put on weight. I know I need to lose some. I'm an ultra runner who's currently injured. My weekly exercise has dropped to practically nothing. Once I'm back running again my weight will drop again.

We're in the UK so year 3. Pupils are roughly 8 years old so whatever grade that translates to with you.

I managed to fall asleep around 5am, kids were up at 7am, then I went back to sleep from 8-10am. Today is going to be a long day!
