Some good news: 39.6 gigawatts of utility-scale solar & 10 GW of rooftop solar were installed in the US in 2024. Electricity from these facilities rose 31.4% after having the largest year-over-year growth since 2017. For comparison, total US generation capacity from ALL energy sources is 1,300 GW.
