I miss JT as well. I loved his vision for Canada. The horrible division and anti-Trudeau rhetoric nauseated me though. I am waiting to see how MC will continue to lead. Uncharted ways of approaching challenges always inspire me, so I will have to see how this plays out.

Smith is just more overt than Ford. He is highly corrupt unquestionably; he just masks it better.

Sorry you feel that way. I feel your information is typically informative and often hilarious.

I couldn’t do what you do with little ones. That’s a whole other superpower.

We are now heading to Cirque de Soleil, and tomorrow, Wonderland, and then travel 7 hours home. I hear you loud and clear. Report cards done before we left. And when we get back, we have two award ceremonies and two grads. June is truly exhausting.

37 Grade 8s. We travelled seven hours south to visit Toronto starting Monday. We’ve done the Square One mall, The Hornblower, Clifton Hill, the Skywheel, Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, Medieval Times, The ROM, the CN Tower, the Schooner, The Lion King, the Zoo, Ripley’s Aquarium.

Admit you are over your head and resign already. I feel so profoundly for the Americans who voted against him.

I tried to get my family their spring COVID vax and was told by our local HU that Ontario is not offering one. We can only get one a year with our flu shots.

I would not lose sleep if PP was removed from our political landscape; however, I admire the PM’s maturity and his desire to do the right thing. Before PP is secured as our LOO, all political leaders must get proper and ongoing security clearance before taking office. How can we make this happen?

I hope you are right and that the advance polls are in the Liberals favour. I’m really anxious about this. And pretty disappointed by how well the Cons are doing.

We voted yesterday. I brought my young adult daughter and her boyfriend. First time voting for both of them.

I live on the highway in Northern Ontario. Our sign is seen constantly.

Hopefully our riding is not the norm. Votewell.ca predicts a Liberal majority in our area, so hopefully not too worrying. Still, I hope we don’t succumb to complacency.

We just voted. Lots of grumblings in our riding while we were there about “keeping Carney out” so please go cast your vote.

Thanks to all the poll station workers who are willing to give up their time on Easter weekend to make it easier for everyone to vote. Much appreciated. Our family is going to vote en masse before brunch.

My 20-year old and 15-year old went with friends in a packed theatre and had a great time. Crazy successful, I think.

In Ontario, the COVID vaccine is now only available once per year, in Oct, at the same time as the flu shot clinics according to our local HU. Thanks Doug Ford. :(

Also, it’s only Liberal yard signs being destroyed and tampered with. So vile.

Agreed, but you can contact elections Canada to register for a riding close to you. In your situation, that clearly won’t work though. Sorry. Trying to be helpful.

I looked online last night because we do not have a candidate provincially (although we do have a federal candidate). You can set it up to vote in your closest riding with a Liberal candidate.

It’s great that you can choose. It is not the same everywhere. I’ve been moved to different schools against my wishes so many times in my career. It causes great anxiety. And apparently it’s because I’m good at fixing problems. Sending happy thoughts your way. You deserve to be happy!

Wow. That’s so disappointing. Pathetic example of humanity.

My husband just pulled this off of FB on a community post. Fucking morons, vote splitting, and disengagement. I’m so pissed. How do you fight the stupidity and apathy?

Got our voter registration cards in the mail today. Can’t wait. Hope we can vote Ford out this time.

We are always expected to make it into work regardless of the weather or roads. Stay safe, and hope you have a good day.

I highly recommend watching his stint on The Daily Show.
He came off very well: smart, stable, levelheaded, self-deprecating, a good sense of humour.

And yet these people walk among us. Friday evening I met with a friend who was proudly wearing a “clown Trudeau” t-shirt. He declared that he would love to become an extension of the US and that it would fix our healthcare crisis. Can’t see past the nose on his face. Nice guy, but so damn simple.
