I'm actually in Seattle. Formerly suoerhot. No more jockeys, public transport, general frustrations.

This feels like the start of a Key poem (complimentary)

They can pretend to be climate activists while trees are cleared in Auburn AND the people living there drive their cars into Seattle for work. Win win for climate hey? But at least we didn’t build apartments in magnolia

If you don’t want to pay for a pattern, use a free one, make your own, go to the library, there are plenty of options

Which has then spiralled into an interesting conversation on worker solidarity or respect for artists. And the difference between sharing amongst friends vs sharing in a 1000 person discord. My take is if you can’t see the difference you’re and idiot. And people should be paid for their work

Arguments over this are still ongoing (mainly on threads). Lots of people using the “you see someone stealing no you didn’t” justification. Which, a) a knitting patterns isn’t food and b) these aren’t mega corps, they’re often side hustles from individuals.

(This was my favourite take from the whole thing. Sure babe. This is totally for people in “developing countries”)

The other I could see one coming like 3 weeks ago when people on tiktok were like “sharing patterns from this (large but still not a megacorp) designer is like stealing from Walmart” and then started a discord to share patterns. These patterns were paid patterns and it became a free for all

I passed. It was perhaps the dumbest test I have ever taken. The correct options were obvious because the others were nonsensical. Not a single question about road markings, one about giving way. And Reddit are like “it’s the hardest test in the country” 🙄

(Also you can blow 0.02 under 21 despite the legal drinking age being 21)
2 years if you’re over 21, 1 year or until you’re 21 (which ever is longer) if you’re over 21
Because they’re multiple choice questions I just keep defaulting to the harshest options

Following this: I can be tested on the punishments for offences but the section on drinking is so piss poor. No real info on ABV, no info on how number of drinks before you get to 0.8. It’s just really weirdly thought out.

Hahaha. Well the BAC is 0.08 here, so I think *that* is insane in itself. First DUI is licence loss for 90 days.

Yeah. The rule is that anything that’s in the driver guide could be on the test, and it includes it. Like I got wrong how long you lose your licence for if you are over the limit (which is 0.08!) twice in 7 years

It’s an every day battle in the Reddit bra fitting community. People coming in, doing their measurements then posting “but I can’t be a DD because my breasts aren’t big”

WhatsApp’s default setting is to save all pics sent to you on it. For a while I had a collection of my friends kids pics that I didn’t take and wasn’t even present for.

The E3 is so niche (and has no migratory intent) that we’re not part of the debate, but yeah it’s not a great feeling to see BAN ALL IMMIGRANTS all over the time line
