Currently on a “reread Dickens” kick: this week, Oliver Twist. I invite you to join me. It’s a wake up call/counterpoint to the faux nostalgia for times when there were no public safety nets. Deep poverty, unimaginable cruelty and gnawing hunger. Is this the “greatness” we’re heading toward?

All of these sites just have Elon Musk's Twitter/X platform links. Please check out your own state and where needed and get this fixed! If they don't have an account, get them to post to Bluesky ASAP. Washington State is the only one found in good shape so far.
