Just incomprehensible. My mum did her PhD there.

This is so many words to say Trump fired the chairman of the joint chiefs because he’s black www.nytimes.com/2025/02/21/u...

And we got finger-wagged by a New England journo "expert" for not staying in our lane and sticking to our knitting (his words) and leaving hard stuff to (paywalled) NYT and Wapo. So we were right, and we did the right thing, and we didn't need anyone's permission to make our own news decisions.

In addition to being illegal, unconstitutional and wrong, Trump's lawlessness is also an extraordinary abuse of power as we the people have to pay his legal bills and ultimately for the damages his harms will bring. He is legally and financially liable for nothing. Break laws, get sued, we pay.

This is a good piece to share far and wide with your friends who are inclined to not pay attention. Thanks to Jacob for sharing.

where are all the newspaper columnists calling for the cops to violently crack down on CPAC like they do on college kids? go bust some heads and ruin some lives for these scumbags like you do for kids protesting the killing of innocents?

Everything going on right now is very fucked up but the world is cool as hell and we are all made of stars, sure yes I’m a bit drunk

trump wants to be able to tell the USPS not to deliver ballots to blue states www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

Trump expected to take control of USPS, fire postal board. “This is something that does not belong to the president or the White House. It belongs to the American people.” That goes for everything else they’re trying to steal too. [washingtonpost.com]

HCR outlines with clarity the World crisis we have created. “The British tabloid The Daily Star interprets the changes in American politics differently. Its cover tomorrow features Vladimir Putin walking “PUTIN’S POODLE”: the president of the United States.

The bird flu outlook has only gotten worse Signs are pointing to a future flu pandemic, the keys to getting in front of it; a free flow of global data that can provide early warning and boosting the resources for widely testing and analyzing H5N1’s evolution. #MOG8 thebulletin.org/2025/02/the-...

This is even more unconstitutional than usual. Article I gives Congress the power to establish the post office. It cannot be "dissolve[d]" by the Executive.

When a high school class is visiting you at City Hall and you need to show that you understood the assignment

If this worked, ever, those outlets would be able to point to one *single* example where accountability and the public good were served due to their “access” to Trump through the pool, despite his DIRECT CENSORSHIP of the most important media wire service. They can’t. Not even one time. Never once.

Susan Collins chairs the Senate Appropriations Committee and has the power to push back against the Trump-Musk misuse of federal funds. If you live in Maine and are ... concerned? troubled? worried? ... let her know and let her know often.

Anyone else happen upon the #cpac C-SPAN live-stream right at the end of Bannon’s wild “fight-fight-fight” chant and repeated Nazi salutes? No? Well, that happened…so are we still gonna say that this isn’t Nazi’ism in our government here?
