Oh what a great sketchy snapshot!

I've used that ink! It does exactly as it says, but unfortunately it doesn't work for somebody who always forgets and leaves it in the pen. It keeps gunking up my pen, but I know that's my fault. ๐ญ

What kind of ink do you use in your pen?

I ordered the blue one w/pans for when I'm out and about, but I got an empty pink one, too! Currently I use a blue mint tin and a pink mint tin. Blue for urban sketching and the pink for illustration. These might be upgrades for them!

Haha just started doing this myself! It's very awkward ๐คช, but it also helps me find stuff in my notes way easier! Didn't expect a functional use as well as an enjoyable fun one!

I loved your video with these paints! I ended up ordering Roman Szmal paints - and your videos really helped me pick my colors. (Got the mini, but also added colors for the third primary set up you had - so pretty!) Anyway, thank you for the guidance and whimsical art!

Oh that's so weird! That makes sense! Well, I will not be going into your sticky pokey pine forests. ๐คฎ๐

A good rule of thumb for life is to imagine what Jean Luc Picard would think if he found out what you were up to. Would he approve? Or would he give a long speech about how you've gone astray?
NOTE: This works well for moral quandaries, but should never be applied to dating or sex

Nothing like getting super excited about bin chickens to identify oneself as a tourist! (๐ฌ Personal experience)

One fun thing about this ep is that sometimes the characters make the same face I am when Barclay is talking and that is validating

Good luck on your search! If you're willing to share the good ones, I'd love to see them! These are goodies from the '90s and 2000s that have survived book purges. The one I come back to again and again is Origami Sea Life. It has really relaxing ones to fold for some reason!

Ooh! I'm loving all of these! If you need more birds, this is a really fun book! (John Montroll origami books were my hyperfixation for like a year back in the '90s!)

I had it off the ground on the plate because a cat has coming into the backyard, and the birds would be able to see the cat sneaking up on them easier. Clearly did not work. Engineering fail on my part.

Aw! Is the Anna's hummingbird (assuming it's an Anna's! ๐ฌ) helping you be present in the moment? Or are you helping it be present in the moment? Or is it body doubling and creating its own story as well? Either way, everybody wins! ๐
