one change i want to make is to make "stamina" more consistent...
currently when you dash, you turn dark green and you can't dash again until you land on the floor, or bounce on a surface, or after a cooldown if you're already on the floor, or if you cancel the dash with a jump...

another quirk: if you bounce on any surface (a wall, the ground, an enemy), you'll preserve the speed you had when you left the ground as long as you're moving when you land.
so you could stop all momentum by dashing straight down, only to bounce on the floor and go right back to running

previously, you had to air-dash forward and continue running when you hit the ground in order to build up speed... do it once for blue sparks, and do it again for orange sparks.
that's technically still here, but you can only do it once to get instant blue sparks. you have to build up to orange
