That's the guy. I want to see him in a square go against Tarzan, we'll see who's the real king of the forest.
If Tarzan wins, face off against the cowardly lion. If Flute Boy wins, flute off against Snufkin.

Quite the cast of characters in that video. I was half expecting - perhaps even hoping for - that flute playing dwarf on a swing to show up.

I can imagine more pleasant futures, true; but I can imagine far, far worse.

Sorry to hear. Wishing you strength and good outcomes.
Today I've written a somewhat leftfield conference abstract which I'm hoping gets selected. My daughter has a meeting about a summer work placement. Tonight there's an opening event for an exhibition my wife has work on display/for sale in.

You'd have thought that the considerable Italian presence in Glasgow might have shaped her manners of pizza slingin', but no.

This is pretty close to my mum's 'Knightswood-style pizza' of the same epoch: only, imagine a scone dough flavoured with onions and generic dried 'mixed herbs'; and bright orange Scottish Cheddar (🎶 it's our kind of cheese 🎶).
As you say, perfectly edible. But not pizza.

You've piqued my interest.
I really hope they actually use the word eccies in it.

I'm still hunting for the hypothermia one, with the bloke in a flight suit stumbling around.
There's an elusive one with a bunch of hillbillies in a trailer, driving through the country and singing a song about roadsigns; I'd hate to die and not see it again.

My pals and I saw Kurt Russell being interviewed in Glasgow Central station when I was a teen. The camera crew shooed us away as we kept trying to sneak into the shot and shout 'Hey Snake! I thought you were dead'. Simple pleasures.
