I'm watching the #GabbyPetito documentary on Netflix and I really don't understand how the police could believe Brian was at risk of domestic assault and not Gabby. Her behaviour, the multiple marks on her, Brian's behaviour. It just seems so obvious that she's at risk.

I'm so shocked to hear that Mark Duffett had passed away. I met Mark over a decade ago when I was new to fan studies and he was - and remained - so kind and generous. His work in the field has been incredibly influential, and he'll be dearly missed.
