Now that I’ve found things I genuinely like that a lot of people also genuinely like, I’ve found myself enjoying my life a little bit more, cause I can look at things I like rather than the things I hate, and I think that’s a better way to live than constantly fighting on the internet

Like in middle school and high school a lot of the things I liked were the stuff that everyone clowned on and criticized, so I couldn’t find actual fun with it anymore and just found myself replacing it by being vitriolic towards those who didn’t like it

It’s reminded me that some (some) people in internet spaces are genuinely just miserable people who can’t find joy in things they like, so they find joy in hate and that’s no way to live, man
