Appreciate the pātai. Te Pāti Māori won’t let Aotearoa import UK/US-style hate. We reject attacks on trans, non-binary and takatāpui whānau. That’s not who we are. Our Te Tiriti commitment means protecting mana, inclusion, and whānau safety. Whakapapa over wedges. Manaakitanga over fear. Always.

Nice I use shade of established trees to give a good light/temp level to some of my bonsai. Especially a silk tree thst grows over their branches. Have a developing Karo forest Pittosporum crassifolium.

Cheers for that. Seems there is plenty digging to be done still. Even if SIS says "all good bro" on a nat sec level. Shocking how much and how long the "edits" were done.

I vaguely remember this odd phase back then and while cleared as far as what SIS can comment on, I am left with many questions about the writing and motivation of Michael Hall.

Here's our Northern Spy today. This variety first appeared about 1800. Very tasty, keeps well, good in cider & pies as well as fresh. Critters love the tree, and the blossoms are lovely.

Yeah glad I did it already don't want to be mucking around later in worse conditions when likely power will go out and other things will need attention.

Got many trees down off their benches and on the ground. Moved many to west side of the house. Got some of the more delicate gems ready to bring indoors later, need them for a display on Thursday.

And here's the Herald's story on the case, detailing vexatious complaints associated with Milne's FB page, multiple death threats (including by Milne himself, which occasioned a formal police warning) and malicious and irrelevant material about the mayor's family. www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/lower-hut...
