But Israel hasn’t killed mostly civilians. 2 million people in Gaza still live. As many as there were before the war. And yes, Israel has the right to strike any “civilian” area that is used by Hamas or any militant group for military purposes according to international law.

Wrong on every point. Hamas to this day makes no distinction between civilian and combatant casualties. Hamas commits the war crime of fighting in civilian clothing in civilian areas (another war crime), making it impossible to differentiate them on the battlefield.
