I would really really like a Covid booster.

It was only this year when I realized that Chips Ahoy (the cookies) was a play on”Ships ahoy!”

Wow. Glad to see such a public and decisive step.

Exercise to be healthy, not to look a certain way.

I want to say that I often *do* learn from student writing, but that is still not why I assign it. Writing is a method of thinking that works differently than pondering something in your head or even than talking it out with knowledgeable people. You only get skilled at it by doing it a lot.

I discovered my old vaccination records recently and saw that I got an MMR when I was 18. Since I was originally vaccinated for measles in the 70s, I'm glad I got the extra boost--I had been meaning to follow up with my doc about it, but now I'm reassured. #vaccinate

Today, across the country and around the world, tens of thousands of people turned out for what organizers say has been the single biggest day of protests against President Trump and his second-term policies and actions.

This fake Donald Trump tweet is once again being widely shared following the president's imposition of global tariffs and the markets plunging in the aftermath. Trump never posted this. It's fake.

The permanent Daylight Saving Time trial in 1974 was a deadly mistake. This cartoon, published on October 25, 1974, expresses relief seeing morning sunlight before 8am when the country went back to Standard Time.

Trump Says Recession Unfortunate But Necessary Step To Get To Depression

This is, in large part, pandemic revenge. As far as these oligarchs are concerned, all science does is tell them stuff they cannot do. They can't keep spewing carbon. They can't keep businesses open as usual when millions are dying. They have concluded that research is the enemy of profit.

Wow. This senator can fuck all the way off into the sun.
