Beautiful!!! Really like how the yellow pops from the background.

Absolutely! Even when I don’t post anything for a whole year, I still pay for my website. 🙂‍↕️ Just want to have my own place.

I recorded myself painting and I can see all the mistakes I made 🙂‍↕️ but overall I am quite happy with the practice.

Watercolor and mixed media on paper 1/100

I am very rusty with watercolor portraits. Even though this was the reason I got into watercolor in the first place. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you! It’s my most worked piece from a holiday trip we did in 2023. It was the first time I visited the canadian prairies, the scenery was so beautiful.

I would have loved to see something like that as a kid. Noses are tricky for sure! I’m sure you inspired many future artists.

How did the kids reacted to the demonstration?

Yeah, agree with broto. I see it more for finished art pieces portfolio and not like a social media. 🖼️✨ Here I feel more comfortable sharing work in progress or sketches for example. 🖌️✨

These kind of soft colors are one of the reasons I started trying gouache. These colors make me feel so relaxed and at peace. Beautiful composition!

Nice series! What made you choose monochromatic? And those specific colors?

So glad my feed caught your painting. I love the color scheme, very beautiful.

Top corner with Tokyo Tower is my new small sketchbook, on the right with a window is a sketchbook I started in 2022 that I’m still trying to finish, and the bottom sketchbook was also started in 2022 and I’m happy to say I actually finished it last week with that painting of a wall with vines.

I was organizing my desk and found this old notebook I hardly use and found that little self portrait of me I made in January. And you know, I saw it with kinder eyes and said fuck it: I’m sharing.

Its frustrating because I recogiese I am not helping, I known I need to change and be kinder to myself.

Which is why I hardly do art updates. And the worst is when I do feel proud of one painting, I still don’t share them because the photo is “off” it’s not , you guessed it, ✨perfect✨. 🙄

I always bring myself down for not being ✨perfect✨. Which is so exhausting because even when I know it’s not possible or realistic I still set the bar impossibly high for me.
