I can only assess what I see and currently I only look at the coaches for tying down the attack to only the right hand side.
Until that talent comes through the door and improves other areas of attack then I will comfortably say it was a talent gap.
I mean we all saw Martinelli getting 15 goals

The low - mid block issues existed pre injuries let's not just tie it down to injuries.
That is Porto, Fulham, Everton.

Even to just put the captain out for a bit because he clearly hasn't been at his best for a couple of months now.

Chelsea are on their way up and they are willing to spend big money to make things right(they've made some bad decisions) and I doubt we can spend as far as they have.
LFC can are cash rich and they'll have the best proposal (trophies) for attackers off the top shelf at the back end of this season

To answer some of the questions.
Saliba rumors to Madrid will never go away and we can both agree he is one of the biggest pillars in this team at the moment and if they want the player, they're definitely trying to get said player.

This has happened to us before you just can't dismiss the concerns and players may decide to run down their contracts.
Other teams around us will improve and I am sure many of us fans didn't see Liverpool do what they are currently doing this season.

I wish I was this optimistic about the future but I am afraid there are going to be many moving parts going forward (key players leaving to get medals elsewhere because they have a really short career) and then we might be caught up in a never ending rebuild cycle.

Give him a killer in the box and a couple of those chances are buried.
