On the Angular side, we’d really want to improve type checking. There are other very high priority work that we also need to do (zoneless, forms, etc).

It’s a good question if developers should care how their framework works under the hood. We build abstractions partially to hide the complexity.
Being fast for *most cases* is probably good enough for many, and in the cases it’s not, people look for alternatives.
