@wwwalkerrun.bsky.social had ideas to improve this and was talking to @synalx.bsky.social to help him get this contribution in. On the Angular side, we’d really want to improve type checking. There are other very high priority work that we also need to do (zoneless, forms, etc).

It’s a good question if developers should care how their framework works under the hood. We build abstractions partially to hide the complexity. Being fast for *most cases* is probably good enough for many, and in the cases it’s not, people look for alternatives.
