Pritzker: If we don’t want to repeat history, then for god’s sake, in this moment, we better be strong enough to learn from it.

In an open letter organized by Justice Connection, some 900 former prosecutors emphasized that the oath they swore "was to the Constitution—not to the President, Attorney General, or any other individual."

Some of us grew up with Schoolhouse Rocks and learned how government works, while consuming our Saturday morning cartoons and cereal. “I’m Just a Bill” was brilliant, and this rivals the best of SHR’s stuff, while being depressingly accurate about Project 2025. youtu.be/CvQhTbCY4xc?...

We are almost two weeks in, and cannot find any authoritative source that can answer one critical question: who does Elon Musk work for? Does he work for the United States government as an employee? As a contractor? It really does matter. And American should know the answer.

You have to be of a certain age to get this, but one of the best ad campaigns of the early 80s was for Maxell Tapes. Today's column by Frank Bruni pays homage by Ben Wiseman at the NY Times. Excellent.

We've photographed some of the four-legged friends from Dog Island (Guemes Island, Washington) as part of a research project into the extinct Coast Salish Woolly Dogs. guemesdogs.com

Otus is the studio dog and stand-in model for our Dog Island Project. He works hard, perfecting his Blue Steel pose, and is almost there with "Ferrari."
