Is efficiency really the goal? I strongly suspect it’s about cutting a department that would hold wealthy people accountable for taxes they owe. It’s about tearing the IRS down, not making it more efficient.

I canceled my Washington Post subscription. I read his message as saying he’s going to avoid opinions related directly to partisan politics. I see him catering to non-controversial points of view. I see him giving space and permission for opinions to be bigoted or to express conspiracy theories.

I have been reading the Washington Post since I was a kid. I just canceled my subscription. The total avoidance of anything political, and controversial is an embarrassment to any real journalist.
