I have had no contact with most of my extended family (& some of my friends) since last summer for political reasons. I worked for the government for years and was trained to protect personal information and not disclose anything to unauthorized persons. Elon Musk, a non-government employee who has not been elected to anything, is now in possession of information on all citizens. Abhorrent!

If you perform at the Trump inauguration or at any related events you are endorsing him. Full stop. And it’s no more defensible than if you performed for Putin or Orban or in the 1930s for the German chancellor. You can dress it up all you want but that’s what it is.
