Not enough architecture. World be better for losing a good hour.

Best film in a long time. Not at all diminished by being pretty much spot on 90 minutes. Laughed a lot, but so many poignant moments .. last frames live with me and maybe always will.

Surely if you just add the WFA amount to the (still comparatively low) State Pension, better off pensioners will pay tax on it, so the treasury gets some back ... Without means testing.
As for the rest, Angela Rayner has some suggestions, I believe.

Needs a Rework, maybe.

Tierney has done well in the past at left CB for Scotland. Worth a shot if Ben still out.

Isn't it technically part of France, and subject to EU tariffs?
But perhaps he watched the last series of Peaky Blinders, where it was used to avoid all sorts of "restrictions".

But better than slogging through 3 hours of The Brutalist even with interval. And then, hardly any architecture. At least the play might be worth the trip.

*Former* Tory MP. Ousted last July by a very talented young man who, back in the day, I had the honour of counting among my students. Like me, Lloyd Hatton MP is neither rich nor dishonest. Long may he hold his seat.

Six? I'm f*c*d then. Stateless. Even Ireland won't have me. (Should have applied when of sporting age).
God this stuff is ridiculous. "Wherever I lay my hat..." Though I lost it on the train.

Or, an extra day in UK, usual train delays and a last minute dash to a Portsmouth ferry fortunately late leaving.
Brittany Ferries' new laudably eco-ship, to & named St Malo, has good food, great service, and a friendly bar. Sadly nary a comfortable seat on the boat, but you can't have everything.

All fines should be taken in share holdings. Dividends blocked until infrastructure reaches acceptable standards. At the rate they are being fined, won't take to long to get to 51%+

Only one company, EDF, that you don't have to sign up with. Maybe we shouldn't have sold it all off. Maybe our regulator has the wrong remit. Maybe windfall taxes in the UK have ridden too gentle a breeze.

It's all gone haywire at our cinema. No picture, then no sound, a bit of both, now sound and no picture. Anyone else got problems?

Been like this for some time. Stands in supermarkets/ petrol stations no more than largely RW poster campaigns. Saddest thing is the first people to read them are the TV and radio news editors who lazily accept their agenda.

This by Evan Rachel Wood in "Across the Universe" really did justice to one of the Beatles' finest (this is mostly John's). The original rather skips through the intro, this revels in an amazing journey through the chords and the unusually early key change.

Sorry Jon, missed the context - would be a good round trip though. Suppose with many major cross-Europe rail plans under development it's a concern the CT is considered somewhat peripheral. Good luck with the project.

Had a big talk to do on Wednesday. Ohio Sen loss was my Sunderland. Put on Gardeners Question Time back to back all night so got some sleep. BBC Sounds worth the whole licence fee.
