Living in real life I guess. Norman Blake was briefly a member of Glasgow band The Clouds, released a couple of singles. The others are now a paramedic, a hairdresser, owner of several chip shops &, IIRC a tax office worker.

According to my cousin's Trump voting, WASP husband, 'Democrats are pussies & working class white men don't vote for pussies'. How to overcome that I have no idea.

I managed AC Acoustics, who supported ex-FNM singer Chuck Mosley's band Cement. I recall them being an affable & rather stoned bunch. Pulp wasn't that busy. Glass Onion morphed into Travis.

From Grimsby. Formerly The Goodbeats & Azure Phantasm. One LP on Vertigo, released in 1970, which is dreadful but sells for £500 plus😀

I remember Judith from DF being very pleasantly surprised how well attended that was. From memory advance sales weren't great but there was a huge walk up as every hipster in Scotland showed up😀

A lot of in-jokes about local bands on the flyers. Dave C thought it hilarious to list folk on the Guest List under bizarre names. I was once Quentin Bumchumley.

Bob didn't like The New York Dolls either. Don't be like Bob. I'm sure he's a lovely guy but not liking Roxy & The Dolls is just...weird😱

Roxy were massive in Liverpool. My friend Steve P. said his love of the band was sorely tested by the Scallies with Ferry wedges & box jackets who would chase him because he went to the 'posh' Blue Coat School.

One to put aside Gary Numan being 13 days older than Gary Oldman.
