Most conservatives still hold the belief that they manufactured that the NYT and CNN are leftist media/propaganda and cannot consider that this might not actually be the truth

What if Animal Farm were a Marvel movie filled with quips? Who can forget Boxerâs famous line, âwell, I guess I could just, you know, keep on working, I mean, not that I really want to because what kind of weirdo loves work THAT much, am I right? But someoneâs got to, so I guess maybe itâll be me.â

This is a tragedy. I remember doing research papers in the late 90s and looking up one book on say, medieval Spain, going upstairs to the third floor and finding it in the stacks, then just looking around and snagging everything nearby that looked useful

I think it was because the $200 was âjust business,â but for my bet, it was the team I support against the team he does, and thatâs the only reason I bet him on it, which made it more personal.

Iâm not a gambler, but had friends who were. I said Iâd only bet if itâs My Team v Your Team, no random games; and Iâll only bet $1, in cash. Gave me some shit saying thatâs not a real bet, to bet more. I said thatâs my bet, take it or leave it, youâll bet $50 but not a dollar? Fine, he said⌠1/2

For me, itâs the âResistâ and âBlueCrewâ accounts with tons of emojis in their profiles, âno maga no crypto no DMsâ who just post memes all day, with 10k+ followers but who are also following 10k+. Been seeing a lot of those recently and block them all, deeply unserious people

Sounds like we need an Edith Hamilton book, but for the Bible. Though, if you're wanting to start on Greek myth, I remember that Heroes, Gods and Monsters of the Greek Myths was more accessible to young readers than Edith Hamilton (though hers is still the gold standard, imo).

âYes, thatâs mine, thanks, theyâre my favorite.â
âWeâve recently added new features to the ham and cheese sandwich.â
âBut I like just ham and cheese.â
âNow you have lettuce, tomato, and mustard.â
âBut I donât want those and I donât like mustard.â

Our local Florida Arsenal supporters group backs Team Meteor. However, Bilbao is a lovely city and we donât genuinely wish any greater calamity upon them than they already have, having to host such a spectacle of antifootball as this L ClĂĄsico. So holding our noses and pulling the lever for United.

Been meaning to get started on the Martian Revolution series, imagine itâs similar to Heinleinâs The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress. Also, years ago, the Star Wars Fan Film Awards, had a Ken Burns-style documentary about the Battle of Hoth. Which also reminds me, World War Z, the book, not the film.
