Just got this beautiful book dropped on my front porch: Red Light Properties: Unfinished Business by Dan Goldman. Even the packaging was top-notch.

This -- I love this.

This is the good stuff, y'all! #graphicnovel

We need to celebrate all the folks fighting the Trump administrations horrible decisions. EVEN Microsoft! :)

Based on a tip/challenge from @scottwilliamcarter.com, I'm trying to up my reading game to read a novel a week (don't laugh, hardcore readers out there!). So far so good: I read a really entertaining and disturbing mystery novel set in Iowa in the '80s last week: The Monsters We Make by @Kali White.

The "Jackie Robinson Day background" section of MLB's official press release about Jackie Robinson just notes that he was a first baseman for the Brooklyn Dodgers who debuted in 1947. Nothing about the how, the why.

Happy #WorldArtDay to all the makers out there, and to all who enjoy and support their work. “Whether you succeed or not is irrelevant, there is no such thing. Making your unknown known is the important thing.” – Georgia O’Keeffe

Good morning Bluesky !

This is fantastic!

Sobering:

He pulled out his phone and grimaced when he saw the number. He answered it anyway. "Hi, Mom," he said with a sigh. "Don't sound too excited," Christine Mayer said, her voice as sharp and sarcastic as ever. "You act like I'm calling just because I need you to do something for me." (1 of 2)
