I remember when Fil Henley @ Wings of Pegasus did an analysis video on Rick's music. I had no idea he played with so many varied artists. R.I.P.

Before I was born, my uncle drove Route 66 and documented it in photos. It was amazing.

A related question I can't get anyone to answer: When can we enact the 25th Amendment?

Quite right, Lydia. Thanks for sharing. I wish we had more people delete their Twitter accounts and come over to Blue Sky. Glad you're here! A voice of reason.

Yes, and as Illinois Gov. JD Pritzker stated, "The kindest person in the room is the smartest." Thanks for sharing!

I have a friend who bought a Porsche Roy ordered but never lived to see it delivered. He died young. But what a voice!

Jason: Firth laugh out Loud of the morning: "Depression you can dance to" -- just the thought of someone making a CD of songs that are depression-laden! I have some potential album cover work that comes to mind.

Eddie was fascinating. He offered to hire my Luthier, who declined stating their approaches to guitar maintenance was just so diametrically opposed, they'd be at each other's throats. But they remained friends.

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all wanna change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all wanna change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out

But the record labels have taken this to absurd levels. I believe Fil Henley when he states that he has never heard anyone with perfect pitch -- with the exception of the late karen Carpenter, and she was remarkable. What Fil is after is authenticity of the voice and I for one agree.

Yes, you're right. Someone sampled it just as Neil Diamond heard "Red, Red Wine" sampled long ago by UB40. Music really is a small circle. Regardless of genre', everyone seems to know projects others are working on.

Yes. It's no surprise to millions of us around the world, that Rod was a brilliant forward thinker, as you say, even though he felt that he was simply a writer that would be forgotten. Rod will never be forgotten, and younger people are discovering him everyday. I wish I had met Rod in-person!

Yes, Shabbyroads. But Fil at Wings of Pegasus has proven about Taylor Swift miming on her 2024-25 tour: www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8rM...

Agree. I'm referencing what began in 1998 with Cher's "Believe" and looking more at Pitch Control. Incidentally the late Karen Carpenter sang in perfect pitch. God help us if A&M begins "pitch correcting" her songs. I posit that if a singer's skills are not up to par, AI can "fix" that. Ethical? No.

I like Rick a lot. I don't disagree that AI is clever. But if you're buying a concert ticket to see The Eagles or Taylor Swift, wouldn't you want to know if they're using AI, or Pitch Correction because a singer isn't as good as someone who can sing naturally without artificial manipulation?
