I was in Boston during the Yankees' five-game sweep there in August 2006. It had been less than two years, but they were acting like October 2004 had never happened.
It was nice.

You root for the Mets and the Rangers. Sit yo' ass down.

It's CNN. Post-Turner, they always choose ratings, therefore money, over country and common sense.
Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.

Tommy Chong and Bruce McCulloch are both Canadian comedians. I wonder if they've ever met and discussed the Daves they know.

They still lie and say that Ortiz and Brady didn't cheat.

I spilled coffee all over mine a couple of years ago. So you're not alone. Good thing I had the Best Buy protection plan.
Beet juice? Are there any good Polish delis in Toronto?

2020s: November 8, 2016, Hacksky the votesky.

I still remember the predictions in 2011 that the Red Sox would win 120 games.
Then they hired Bobby Valentine to manage them for 2012. "Ginger, get the popcorn!"

It's the only movie I have ever literally laughed all the way home from. But I was also in high school at the time.
And while Rooney was just doing his job, he went too far, and enjoyed it too much, and ended up paying for that.
Don't get me started on the ending. Cameron's getting thrown out.

Not the comparison you think it is. Blunt is a war hero.

"Corporate Democrats." What's the matter, did you run out of characters, so you couldn't add that other massively stupid and false word, "Neoliberal"?

Emerson College is in BOSTON! You think people from Boston are going to tell the truth about New York?

The very thing his child soldiers accuse Schumer of.

No, I think New Yorkers are going to say, "Sure, Cuomo's an asshole, but he gets shit done, while these other people are bums, so we're voting for him."
I hope I'm wrong.

And nobody has ever screwed working class people more than Bernie Sanders, for letting his overweening ego keep him in the race in 2016 well after it was impossible for him to win the nomination of a party to which he doesn't belong, and for which he has always spoken with contempt.
So screw him.

So, a good couple of nights for Mark Carney, but a bad couple of nights for Gary Bettman.

That's a basket per minute, with one of them being for three. That doesn't sound like something that should have failed 121 consecutive times.
Especially to someone old enough to remember Reggie Miller.

The only people who love genocide are Hamas.
New Yorkers are not going to vote for him just because he says he'll freeze rent -- because that's not going to happen. The landlords have better lawyers.

And it did. The Yankees made it 4-0. It could have been worse, as they left the bases loaded.

Maybe they didn't read it.
This is why Republicans (including Trump) lie so much: When they tell the truth, they get in MORE trouble.

I don't vote Republican, for the same reason I don't root for the Mets.
No matter how much it might start out seeming like a good idea, when you put it into practice, it turns into a disaster.

The late great newspaper columnist Molly Ivins said the difference between one SOB and another -- she was referring to male candidates -- could mean the difference between life and death.
