I don’t care about art. I just want $1,000,000. ⬇️Read my comics and get my music 4 free⬇️ Sweater.substack.com

Shooting that shot as a video game comic WAS a bolder move than 90% of artists will ever take. (But the bullying was fine for at least six months.)

It is so important to do the right project the right places and that magic is difficult. I’ve got a book from a huge publisher, a midsized, and two self published ones this year and I would say no to an offer to put them in the different boxes.

I am still catching up and talking to people. Are these expenses on anyone’s royalty sheet? That number is always just the book printing and marketing materials I approved on my stuff.

Beard is a product of depression. You are doing a correlation error.

Only assemble 200 at a time. There are weird tools I constructed to assemble. If you do it through bestvalueprinting you can have the pages collated and do separate covers on a nicer paper. 24 page b/w zines with a nice color cover can be made for like 30-40 cents.

Self assemble or print on demand! It can work. You just gotta be good at researching the lowest cost for things.

Terrifying.

I wish there was a way to tell the person who made a big order in a dry few days that they are the reason you didn’t get a job hanging drywall the next day without sounding like a total weirdo.

It’s borderline alchemy. Publishing also rules. I love working with publishers. But it’s a small part of a much bigger and weirder picture.

That’s wild. I feel like the only games I know are made by one or a handful of people who get so rich they get real weird.

Neither. As far as I can tell people are just told how to pitch and are not fully informed that it’s a small part of a system.

For context I have two books I am self publishing this year while I also have two books coming out with publishers. These two books have no potential to sell more than a few hundred copies. The books with the publishers could sell so many copies I couldn’t handle shipping. Neither is “better”.

I have told 75% of people to self publish the projects I am shown and as recent graduates they don’t know how this works. What the hell are they doing at comic schools?

I am going to pretend you didn’t tell me this so I can keep working.

I am actually really excited about this remaster just so other people can experience the absolute alchemical nonsense they expect you to figure out for how leveling works.

Game is insanely dookie. I love the update aesthetics but everything about this game is so bad I didn’t play Skyrim for years after putting hundreds of hours into Morrowind as a kid.

This is the only good art I've ever made

I need people to remain unaware of the hardline movement so I don’t lose my inappropriate thing to discuss at parties that people don’t know about and won’t believe is real until they google it. True Crime podcasts already took Ted K’s college years away from me.

Vending. I also do not have 500 dollars so this is for the best
