Sad times 😕 Turns out our pepper grinder is like Humpty Dumpty.

As a general rule when asked "How many versions of [Insert favourite classical work] should one own?" the answer is always "One more than you currently have"

My Couch to 5k schedule. So rewarding to cross out a week with black pen 🤓 Only more week to go! Fingers crossed for continued clement weather

#NowPlaying There are worse ways to spend an evening than listening to “The Dude with the Smooth Voice”™️ (as my oldest son refers to him). It’s a wonderful album

‘Magna Carta’ is the plural form of ‘Magnum Cartum’, the Latin for ‘ice-cream van’. The Vatican required the Latin name to be used and the vans to be heralded by monastic plainsong. Henry VIII famously broke from Rome so that the vans would be able to play Greensleeves instead.

So many dolphins in Pōneke harbour that I had to film in landscape and still couldn't capture em all

Bringing classy lunchboxes to work since forever. Often it’s just a bread bag

Continuing my George Eliot rereading jag. Reading this for only the second time since buying it in May 1996 😳

Early morning exercise alongside te Awakairangi (Hutt River) can be so lovely

Honor his memory by doing something strange, unraveling a riddle within yourself, and working on your favorite projects.

Ping @sinceritasc.bsky.social I think you might appreciate this album
