What citizens believe they will benefit from these "government efficiency" efforts? Does any regular person think that their taxes are going down as a result of the Department of Education being gutted? Or as a result of FEMA money being rescinded? Or USAID being halted?

What am I watching? A man from South Africa, taking a break from rummaging through my childrens' data at DOE, in the Oval Office lecturing me about how I need to trust him to make sure government is accountable to the democratically elected officials? Irony is on a permanent sabbatical.

I'm glad for Republicans - heck, anyone - who is denouncing the pardoning of violent criminals. I'm thankful for those asking Pam Bondi and Pete Hegseth if they will resist unlawful requests from the President. HOWEVER, it's the equivalent of locking the barn door after the horse has bolted.
