We weren't prepared because Donald Trump threw out the book on how to deal with it in 2017.
It's extremely sus that everything Trump did to destabilize national preparedness and the CDC in his first term, then we got a pandemic at the end of his term.

Except none of that has happened. And since the deal was announced, the PGA gained the upper hand in negotiating...To the point that the deal may fall apart entirely and LIV will fade into insignificance.
And last I checked all the LIV guys are still banned from the PGA.
