My fellow travellers (š) were not ordinary Americans in that they were, um, travellers. But we can hope there are enough of them to lead a fight-back. I was encouraged by sharing some great sights and long conversations.

Heās definitely looked good thru middle. Thereās also another wide player arriving so perhaps they *want* Onel to be option at 9. Thereās always a reason for doing stuff we donāt understand or disagree with. Of course stuff doesnāt always work!

Theyāll have tried that in training, I imagine.

Onelās played there 3 or 4 times this season (quite well) and when Sarge came on at 9 he didnāt get a touch so I think problems run a lot deeper than Onelās role. š¤·

Yes, dread extra time and/or pens at away games. Even worse when I was journo filing stories. Had to send most before knowing result. š¤¦š¼āāļø

Weāre ahead of where we were this time last season. I firmly believe you have to take any chance of playoffs etc and not assume weād get another crack quickly if we donāt succeed this time. We certainly need to glean more away points though.

He foisted sporting director Rugger wallah Clive Woodward on Harry Redknapp. CW said: āIād like to coach soccer: happy to start with under 10s sideā. Mentioned one off top of his head. I checked, they had a dad whoād bothered to take and pass FA coaching course. Harry saw off Woodward.

All laws in any sphere of human endeavour are applied haphazardly. eg few shoplifters are prosecuted. That doesnāt mean that those that are donāt deserve to be punished. Donāt waste time on āyeah but x did yā whataboutery. The only thing we can/should/must control is our playersā self-discipline.

I think all squads have an inherent propensity for frustration turning to ill-discipline unless itās obvious from day 1 and every day that it wonāt be tolerated. Decades ago I watched Graham Taylor stop a Watford training/coachjng session to make a point about it.

Bellars was a stroppy little whatsit, but I donāt recall widespread ill-discipline. š¤·

3) Donāt get caught up in whataboutery, conspiracy theories or angst about FA. This is least self-disciplined NCFC era I can recall. Deal with that and we stop self-harm.

2) Cordoba, already cautioned, makes daft challenge (sent off, we concede again in seconds). If Sainz spat at opponent (neither club nor he have denied that since it was alleged) ā¦
