I’m 76 and so do I - but moving too quickly will be portrayed as crawling to Europe & all that nonsense.
Strangely the tangerine may have given impetus to re establishing closer ties between the UK & the EU by making it clear that the U.S. under him is an unreliable ally, he encourages the process.

Yes - he’s very strange but it’s his stridency that I find particularly hilarious - it’s like he knows it’s bullshit & if he doesn’t nail it to the wall (sorry) - you’d shout “shut up you knob” and - sadly (for him) he’d have to.
So - yes - he’s ridiculous - so why am I worried ?

Apart from the fact that this screams fix, in terms of the U.S. deciding to back Putin without any discussion elsewhere - it’s provably false.
As for the dictator bit, apart from the obvious comparison to Putin, which leader has ever held elections in the middle of a war.

Unfortunately they’re probably right to publicise this - their messaging, so far, has been appalling and immigrant numbers coming in & out are no longer reported on (not enough negative headlines) - now it’s cost, they’ll be lambasted for the cost of keeping the immigrants that arrived pre July.
