I would personally prefer a higher budget just 'cause I support reasonable production conditions and not working long hours, but yes, I do think Star Trek loses something if it doesn't have at least a few completely insane clunkers due to writers desperately trying to fill a 26 episode order.

I distinctly remember being 13 years old and watching Pepper Ann when my mother asked why I still watched cartoons. I hate that there's an ingrained expectation that you should outgrow animation.
