as someone who has been instrumental in a yearly fighting game stream event called the "Kusoge Advent Calendar" for a frankly stupid number of years at this point, as you can guess I have a lot of thoughts about the whole "defining kusoge in fighting games" discourse that pops up regularly lmao

and there are those sociopathic people who like bullying, mocking, and only care about winning, whatever that takes, who abuse relativism to gaslight others. I feel that most fighting games are suited to the later type because of poor design, which sadly favours abusive tactics over fairness.
