Awww, they are perfect! So much more special if you find them yourself. If we are really unlucky, I have to visit a gift shop before the end of the week. 🙈

I really wasn't convinced I would be able to do it when I saw 25 minutes on the screen, but I did. I'll definitely consider parkrun next weekend.

I am doing the c25k right now, trying to get back to it. Years ago 25 minutes would have been laughable, but right now I am thrilled.

It's 'Here one moment' by Liane Moriarty.

There are two. One is very hilly, so I am not ready for that yet for sure. The other one would be a possibility, and I'll give it a go soon. Just need some courage.

I am a bit intimidated by that idea still, but I'll give it a go soon.

Aaaaaah! The feel-good book I needed! Loved my book number 8 of 2025. Felt like 'Elinor Oliphant'. Enjoyed every minute.

Book number 7 was JP Delaney again. Didn't like this one. 🤷🏽♀️ Time for something different...

I love when that happens in books. I'll look out for it.

It was The Girl Before.
Chilling and brutal, but very clever.

On a JP Delaney streak now... I read the book 'The Girl Before' and realised a few chapters in that I had watched the film adaptation a few years ago. Didn't matter. Gripping and brutal. Book 6 ✔️

Having enjoyed 'Playing nice', I went back for more from JP Delaney and flew through book 5. Excellent reading.

Book number 4 of 2025 is The Radleys. Not a genre I would pick, but I didn't do proper research. 🧛🏼♂️ Nearly didn't carry on reading after Chapter 1 when I realised, but don't like giving up on a book. Glad I didn't - I actually enjoyed it.

This was un-put-down-able! Third book of 2025, had me captured from the first chapter. Now wondering if I should watch the TV adaptation or if I will regret it?! Highly recommend.

Great choices. Love Dua Lipa and Manics.
Since getting obsessed with audio books I have neglected listening to music. Have a lovely weekend!

Book number two was also a gift. I wasn't sure about it all the way through. A family saga told from four different perspectives. And then a fabulous ending that made me call out "No!" in a room full of people. In parts funny, and very tragic. 🥲 #booksky

My first book was Orbital. 19.1.25 Was a Christnas gift and probably wouldn't have picked it up myself. Loved it. Never read anything like it before. Quite poetic and almost philosophical. Very short, but needed breaks to ponder. Made me re-evaluate some things. Very special.
